During a visit to North Dera Bugti, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti reviewed development schemes, emphasizing water infrastructure and directing officials to enhance public services through stronger oversight and accountability.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti inspected various ongoing development projects in North Dera Bugti district and reviewed the pace and quality of work, also inaugurating new government offices.
Speaking at the event, the chief minister stated that establishing government offices in the newly created district is a significant step towards providing essential services directly to the people and simplifying access to administrative matters. He prioritized activating public institutions and strengthening the administrative system in newly established districts to ensure citizens don't face long journeys for basic government services.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti's Directives:
- Officials should consider public service as their primary responsibility and implement an open-door policy.
- Maintain punctuality and prioritize resolving public grievances without causing unnecessary delays or hardships.
- Government machinery exists to serve the public, and its performance should be judged based on service delivery, conduct towards citizens, and addressing public concerns.
Highlighting the importance of effective governance in newly established districts, Bugti emphasized the need to strengthen the administrative structure and ensure the functionality of government institutions. All relevant departments are expected to perform their responsibilities efficiently to remove obstacles in delivering basic services and improving administrative affairs.
During the review of development schemes, the chief minister emphasized the crucial need for water reservoirs and dam construction, considering Balochistan's water scarcity challenges. However, he stressed that quality should never be compromised in these projects.
He directed authorities to strictly adhere to prescribed standards and technical requirements in all development projects, including dams, ensuring their durability and effectiveness.
