CM Reviews Own-source Revenue Projects in Sargodha, DG Khan Divisions

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday directed the authorities to use recycled plastic drain covers along roadsides and banned concrete flower pots on roadsides and road medians.
Special Meeting
Presiding over a special meeting, the chief minister reviewed development projects to be executed through own-source revenue in Sargodha and Dera Ghazi Khan divisions.
Key Directives:
- Prominently display city names on green, grassy plots at entry points for aesthetic appeal.
- Complete 20 projects through own-source revenue in Sargodha Division: 8 in Sargodha district, 6 in Khushab, and 6 in Bhakkar.
- Ban illegal ramps constructed outside houses obstructing public roads.
Project Details:
Sargodha Division:
- Road Construction & Rehabilitation: Dairy Road, Azad Road, urdu Bazaar Road, Pilot Chowk, Khayyam Chowk Overhead Bridge Road.
- Khushab: Roads around Jahaz Chowk, DPS school, Sehgal Chowk, Mianwali Road, Main Bazaar Quaidabad, Noorpur Thal Road.
- Bhakkar: GPO Chowk Road, TDA Road, Kallur Kot Road, Mankera City Road.
Rajanpur:
- Development and rehabilitation of Kitab Canal-Indus Highway, Post Office Road, Akalpur and Fatehpur roads.
Other Initiatives:
- Sewerage and drainage projects in rural areas: Rojhan, Kot Mithan, Jampur, and Dajal.
- Prioritize sewerage and drainage schemes in villages.
- Seek additional development projects for Rajanpur city and its tehsils.
