The Chief Minister participated in a procession in Malir organised by Mufti Muhammad Jan Naeemi of Darul Uloom Mujadedia Naeemia and led two central processions near Memon Masjid, accompanied by religious scholars Akbar Dars and Rafiq Shah, according to a
news
release from the CM House.
Provincial ministers, members of the National and Provincial Assemblies, and local government representatives also participated in the celebrations.
Addressing the gathering, Murad Ali Shah stated that love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is an essential aspect of every Muslim’s faith and serves as a guiding light for humanity. He emphasized that the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) provides a comprehensive model of peace, justice, compassion, tolerance, and service to mankind.
"Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) reminds us of our commitment to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and foster love, harmony, and respect among all people," he said.
Cultural Heritage and Devotion
The Chief Minister highlighted Sindh’s profound connection with love and devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) over the centuries, noting that its rich cultural and spiritual heritage reflects the values of peace, tolerance, and humanity promoted by Sufi saints.
He encouraged observing Eid Milad-un-Nabi as a renewed pledge to adhere to the noble character and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He emphasized that the Prophet’s message of peace, brotherhood, and equality is more relevant than ever in today’s world.
Murad Ali Shah reaffirmed the Sindh government’s commitment to promoting religious harmony, inter-sect unity, and mutual respect across the province. He believed that adhering to the Prophet’s teachings can lead society towards peace, civility, tolerance, and collective prosperity.
He offered special prayers for Pakistan’s peace, stability, and prosperity, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and the well-being of people worldwide.

Those accompanying the Chief Minister included Labour Minister Saeed Ghani, Religious Affairs Minister Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, Law Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar, and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab.
During the Malir procession, the Chief Minister spoke to media representatives, praying for Allah Almighty’s mercy upon Muslims worldwide, an end to the suffering of oppressed people, particularly in Kashmir and Palestine, and peace and security for those facing conflict and hardship.
He also called for promoting love, tolerance, and brotherhood in daily life and prayed for global peace, prosperity, and unity among Muslims.
