Commissioner Approves 17 Poultry Shed Projects
SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali chaired a meeting of the Divisional Environmental Approval Committee here on Wednesday to review cases relating to environmental approvals and no-objection certificates (NOCs) for various projects and activities.
Additional Commissioner Coordination Ashfaq-ur-Rehman, the committee’s expert member, Deputy Director Environmental Protection Agency and other relevant officers attended the meeting.
During the meeting, 17 projects concerning the construction of poultry sheds were presented before the committee for environmental approval and issuance of NOCs. The concerned authorities briefed the committee on environmental aspects, legal requirements and other relevant matters relating to the projects.
The committee reviewed the cases in detail in light of environmental laws, rules, regulations and prescribed technical requirements and accorded approval to the cases on the agenda.
Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali directed the concerned officers to ensure complete compliance with all legal and technical requirements during the process of granting environmental approvals and issuing NOCs. He directed the officers to process cases on merit, with transparency and in accordance with prescribed rules, while ensuring timely disposal so that the public and investors did not face unnecessary delays.
