Commissioner Inspects Development Projects, Healthcare Infrastructure in Murree
Murree, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Sep, 2026) Commissioner Rawalpindi Suleman Ghani conducted an extensive tour of Murree on Friday along with Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi to review ongoing development projects, civic facilities, and healthcare infrastructure.
Accompanied by heads of relevant departments, the Commissioner inspected the newly constructed THQ Hospital Murree and reviewed its fire safety arrangements, emergency department preparedness, clinical facilities, and sanitation conditions. He directed the concerned authorities to ensure the immediate operationalisation of pending medical units and maintain strict standards of quality and service delivery at the hospital.
During the visit, the Commissioner also inspected beautification and landscaping works at Bagh-e-Shaheedan Park and PHA Park Murree, reviewing the condition of walking tracks and ongoing plantation activities.
Later, he chaired a progress review meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, where officials briefed him on infrastructure improvement works along Mall Road. The Commissioner directed the concerned departments to expedite ongoing projects while ensuring quality, timely completion, and minimal inconvenience to residents and visitors.
