Commissioner Inspects Hospital, Reviews Medical Care & Cleanliness

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint) - Commissioner Lahore Nauman Yousaf on Monday inspected the Sabzazar Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and reviewed medical care protocols, availability of medicines, and cleanliness arrangements in line with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif's directives.
During his visit, the commissioner examined the emergency department, wards, and other sections of the hospital, conducting a special inspection of the dengue ward. He interacted with patients, inquiring about their medical facilities. Patients expressed satisfaction with medicine availability and treatment.
He also reviewed duty rosters, medicine supplies, and cleanliness arrangements at the hospital. Nauman Yousaf checked medicine batches and supply arrangements in the hospital's pharmacy, focusing on washroom cleanliness.
The commissioner stated that the dengue ward had been established and directed regular checks of plant containers inside hospital rooms to prevent breeding sites. He emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for hygiene and cleanliness standards at hospitals, adding that inspections are scheduled to ensure protocol adherence and enhance patient services.
