Commissioner Reviews 'Apna Khet Apna Rozgar' Programme, Revenue Affairs
SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 07, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali chaired a video-link meeting with Deputy Commissioners and Additional Deputy Commissioners (Revenue) from across the division to review progress on the ‘Apna Khet Apna Rozgar’ programme and revenue-related matters here on Monday.
The meeting:
- Reviewed the process of handing over physical possession of land to beneficiaries under the programme.
- Discussed revenue affairs, implementation of eFOAS (electronic Field Office Application System), and progress on proposed inspection standard operating procedures (SOPs) and a portal.
Commissioner's Directions:
- Emphasized completing the land handover process within the prescribed timeline.
- Directed addressing all necessary administrative and revenue matters on a priority basis.
- Issued instructions regarding eFOAS implementation, stressing timely and effective execution, regular record updates, and adherence to procedures.
The meeting also:
- Sought suggestions for the proposed inspection SOPs and portal from officers.
- Requested practical proposals ensuring transparency, monitoring, and timely record availability in the inspection process.
Commissioner's Statement:
"‘Apna Khet Apna Rozgar’ is an important welfare initiative of the Punjab government. Field officers are directed to ensure tangible progress so that its benefits reach genuine beneficiaries." He added that any delay or negligence will not be tolerated.
