Commissioner Reviews ‘Apna Khet Apna Rozgar’ Programme Implementation
SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division, Hafiz Shaukat Ali, on Wednesday chaired a video-link meeting to review the progress on the “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” programme.
The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Coordination, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, and Additional Deputy Commissioners of Revenue from Sargodha, Khushab, and Bhakkar districts.
They discussed:
- The targets set under the programme.
- Ongoing initiatives.
- Field-level implementation.
- Ensuring benefits reach deserving people.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali emphasized that empowering farmers and creating dignified livelihood opportunities for rural communities are key government priorities, aligning with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's vision.
He noted the “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” programme aims to provide farmers and hardworking rural families with sustainable economic activities using their available resources.
The Commissioner directed officers:
- To focus on delivering tangible benefits to deserving people, avoiding paperwork.
- To ensure effective field monitoring, timely target achievement, merit, and transparency.
- To maintain close coordination between district administrations and relevant departments.
- To remove administrative hurdles promptly.
- To offer effective field-level facilitation and guidance for beneficiaries.
- To regularly review programme progress and ensure target achievement.
