Commissioner Reviews Progress Of ADP Development Projects
BAHAWALPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 23, 2026) Commissioner Bahawalpur Division, Irfan Ali Kathia, chaired a video-link meeting to review the progress of ongoing development projects implemented under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) across the division.
During the meeting, participants thoroughly discussed the implementation status, execution pace, and quality of development schemes in all three districts. Concerned officials provided updates on the overall progress of ongoing projects.
According to the briefing, 242 development schemes are currently underway in Bahawalpur Division, with a total allocation of Rs 135.859 billion.
Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia instructed all relevant departments to ensure completion within stipulated time frames, emphasizing no compromise on construction quality. He stated that timely project finish would enhance public services and infrastructure, encouraging accelerated progress.
Kathia also directed administrative officers to conduct regular field visits for strict progress and quality monitoring. He stressed immediate identification and swift resolution of any implementation obstacles through inter-departmental coordination.
The meeting attended by Deputy Commissioners of all three districts and officers from relevant government departments.
