Police in Islamabad have initiated a crackdown on containers, aiming to prevent a scheduled protest. According to container owners, the Islamabad Police have also seized containers carrying essential medicines destined for Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
They expressed concern that the heat might damage the medications within. Furthermore, the owners claimed that police took possession of container keys, documents (including driving licenses, consignment receipts, and other paperwork).
This development comes amid a growing controversy surrounding the use of official aircraft by Punjab's Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
