Member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly, Nisar Baz Khan, emphasized the need for effective coordination and sustained efforts to protect the province's financial interests and accelerate development in the tribal districts. He made these remarks at a meeting of the KP Assembly Standing Committee on Finance, chaired by its chairman, Arbab Muhammad Usman Khan.

The committee reviewed financial matters concerning the province, including Net Hydel Profit (NHP), the 7th NFC Award, and commitments under the 25th Constitutional Amendment. They examined documents presented by the Finance Department and requested further details and relevant records.

Nisar Baz Khan argued that all stakeholders should collaborate to address financial issues in KP and ensure timely resource allocation for development activities in the merged districts. He also stated that implementing the commitments under the 25th Constitutional Amendment would boost development and public service improvement in the tribal areas.

The lawmaker committed the Standing Committee on Finance to promoting transparency, accountability, and efficient public resource utilization for the people's welfare.
