CPO Orders Dismissal Of Constable Over Alleged Misconduct With Citizen
Rawalpindi Police, under the leadership of City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera, has taken a stand against misconduct by dismissing a constable involved in an incident of violence and inappropriate treatment towards a citizen.
According to a police spokesperson, the action was initiated after a video of the incident on August 30 at Gujar Khan Police Station came to light. The CPO promptly suspended Constable Ehtesham and ordered a departmental inquiry.
Following the inquiry, Constable Ehtesham was dismissed from service. CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera emphasized that any mistreatment, misconduct, or violence against citizens is unacceptable and will be met with strict departmental action.
He reinforced that maintaining public dignity and ensuring professional conduct by police officers is a top priority for the Rawalpindi Police.
