Crackdown on Brothels and Illegal Activities in Islamabad

Islamabad Police, in a series of operations, targeted spa centres and alleged brothels in various areas of the federal capital, leading to the arrest of 52 individuals, predominantly women (40).
Nine cases were registered, with legal action taken against seven spa centres and two alleged brothels. Police seized control of 14 spa centres in Kohsar, 19 in Margalla, and 3 in Karachi Company areas, detaining 36 people in total. Two brothels within the I-9 Police Station jurisdiction were sealed, resulting in the arrest of 16 individuals.
According to Islamabad Police, this is part of a continuous effort to combat illegal and immoral activities in the city. They did not specify the charges against the arrested individuals or any details regarding recovered items.
