Danish Atlas Sets Sights on LA Olympic Glory

"I’m training eight hours per day," Danish shared. "This includes high-intensity squash training, physical conditioning, strength training, and endurance work. My focus is to be at peak fitness and match sharpness for Los Angeles."
The 32-year-old, a recipient of Pakistan’s Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, recently won the Burlington Squash League 2026 in the US, showcasing his skills against strong local competition. This victory adds to his impressive international career, including winning the 2015 Chicago Open and representing Pakistan in numerous events.
Atlas believes this is a historic opportunity for Pakistan to reclaim its squash legacy, as the country dominated the sport decades ago through legends like Jahangir Khan and Jansher Khan. He aims to add to this heritage, stating, "I want to make Pakistan proud. My job now is to work tirelessly so that I’m ready to deliver for my country on the Olympic stage."
