HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 26, 2026) A dignified rally led by Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro Ghaznfar Ali Qadri was taken out on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with the participation of a large number of devotees.
Assistant Commissioner Kotri Abdul Shakoor Solangi, DIB In-charge Sajid Abbasi, Abdul Rehman Memon, Obaidullah Brohi, Younus Sheikh and other government officials, elders, and children participated in the rally in significant numbers.
The participants filled the atmosphere with slogans of Durood-o-Salam and Marhaba ya Mustafa (SAW).
The rally commenced from the residence of Pir Zaman Shah Jilani and concluded at the shrine of Hazrat Baba Salahuddin.
On this occasion, DC Ghazanfar Qadri, while addressing the participants, extended felicitations to all Muslims on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal. He emphasized that the life of the holy Prophet (PBUH) is a perfect model for us to follow in terms of peace, love, brotherhood, sisterhood, and service to humanity.
He urged the community to foster unity, tolerance, love, and sisterhood by adhering to the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH). He stated that emulating the life of the Prophet (PBUH) is the key to success in this world and the hereafter, encouraging individuals to integrate his teachings into their daily lives for a peaceful, prosperous, and unified society.
Subsequently, the deputy commissioner, along with other participants, visited the shrine of Kotri Hazrat Baba Salahuddin, reciting Fateha and offering special prayers for the safety, peace, development, and prosperity of the country and nation.
