DC Matiari Visits Various Locations, Reviews Ongoing Polio Campaign

Deputy Commissioner Matiari Muhammad Danish Zakir visited various locations in the district to review the ongoing September SNIDs Polio Campaign. He was accompanied by District Health Officer Matiari Dr. Zahid Sadar.
The deputy commissioner visited:
- Rural Health Centre (RHC) Bhitshah, where he observed field activities of a polio team in UC Bhitshah.
- RHC/THQ Hala.
During his visit to RHC Bhitshah:
- He reviewed arrangements for the polio campaign and received a briefing from staff regarding progress, deployment, and child coverage.
- Zakir inspected team attendance and activities according to the micro-plan, ensuring the administration of polio drops to children.
He subsequently visited a polio team in UC Bhitshah and observed door-to-door vaccination activities. He discussed missed children and field challenges with the team, directing them to ensure complete coverage of all under-five children.
At RHC/THQ Hala, Zakir reviewed arrangements and field activities, emphasizing the importance of effective monitoring, reporting, and coordination for achieving campaign targets.
Dr. Zahid Sadar briefed him on campaign progress, team performance, and child coverage. DC Zakir stressed the necessity of joint efforts from all departments for successful polio eradication.
