DC Reviews Progress On Development Projects In Lower Kohistan

Deputy Commissioner Lower Kohistan Zohaib Hayat chaired a meeting of the District Development Committee (DDC) to review progress on ongoing and proposed development projects across the district.
The meeting was attended by members of the committee, officials of relevant government departments and other concerned authorities.
Participants reviewed various development schemes, public welfare projects, and infrastructure initiatives, including construction and rehabilitation works. Departmental officials briefed the meeting on the current status of projects, implementation challenges, and future plans.
Deputy Commissioner Zohaib Hayat directed the concerned departments to ensure timely completion of development schemes while maintaining high standards of quality and transparency. He stressed the need for responsible and effective utilization of public funds and said that no compromise would be tolerated on the quality of construction work.
He noted that provision of basic facilities, improvement of infrastructure, and timely resolution of long-standing public issues were among the administration’s top priorities. He warned against unnecessary delays, negligence, and poor performance in development projects, stating that such actions would not be tolerated. He directed all departments to strengthen coordination and fulfill their responsibilities effectively for sustainable and balanced development in Lower Kohistan.
