DDC Approves 32 Development Schemes Worth Rs 611.63m
MUZAFFARGARH, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Sep, 2026) The district administration on Tuesday geared up to implement Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s "Developed Punjab Vision" as the District Development Committee (DDC) approved 32 development schemes at a cost of over Rs 611.63 million.
DDC Meeting Details:
The DDC meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Hina Arshid. The officials informed that seven schemes, funded through own-source resources, were approved with an allocation of Rs 310.38 million.
Under the Provincial Annual Development Programme 2026-27, the meeting gave revised approval to seven board of Revenue schemes related to Khanewal, to be executed at a cost of Rs 216.44 million.
Ten additional schemes were also approved under SAP-8 (2025-26), with funds worth Rs 100 million earmarked for their execution.
The meeting further approved a renovation plan for eight Police Department buildings, estimated to cost Rs 1.968 million.
DC Hina Arshad directed the departments concerned to complete all approved schemes within the stipulated timeframe. Officers of the district administration, construction and other relevant departments attended the meeting.
