Defence Day Marked With Rally Paying Tribute To 1965 War Martyrs In Murree

MURREE district administration organized a rally on Sunday to observe Defence Day, honouring the martyrs of the 1965 war and reaffirming solidarity with the armed forces.

Led by Assistant Commissioner Captain (r) Arshad Iqbal and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Murree, participants marched carrying national flags and banners bearing messages of patriotism and respect for the country's defenders. Prayers were offered for the security, sovereignty, and prosperity of Pakistan.

Speakers at the rally underscored the supreme sacrifices made by the armed forces and stressed that the nation stands united alongside its defense personnel to safeguard the motherland. The event was attended by officials from various government departments, office-bearers of the local trade association, representatives of civil society, and a large number of residents.
