Defence Day Marks Sacrifices Of Martyrs; Says Jamaat-e-Islami Leader
SANGHAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Sep, 2026) Jamaat-e-Islami Sanghar district Ameer Rafiq Mansoori and Tanzeem Asataza Pakustan Sanghar president Prof Ahmed Bilal Ghori on Saturday have said that Sept 6 was a historic and unforgettable day in Pakistan’s history, when the armed forces and the nation foiled the enemy’s designs with unity, patriotism, and courage.
In a joint message issued on the occasion of Defence Day, they stated that the day serves as a reminder to the nation of the sacrifices rendered by martyrs and veterans for the defence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the country. They expressed that these sacrifices will continue to inspire future generations.
The leaders emphasised that Defence Day is an opportunity to renew the national resolve to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and security. They acknowledged the unparalleled sacrifices made by the armed forces and assured their full support. They called for greater national unity, brotherhood, sacrifice, and patriotism to counter any threat to the country’s stability and security.
Moreover, they stressed the need to educate the younger generation about the history of the Pakistan Movement and Defence Day to foster a stronger sense of patriotism, national responsibility, and commitment among them.
