September 06 marks a glorious and unforgettable chapter in Pakistan's national history, showcasing the nation's unity, solidarity, and patriotism. Farah Naz Akbar, addressing a Defence Day conference organized by the All Pakistan Media Council, paid tribute to the brave soldiers, martyrs, and veterans of the Pakistani Armed Forces for their unwavering sacrifices in defending the country.
She emphasized that while Pakistan's defence goes beyond physical borders, it is intrinsically linked to national unity, economic strength, quality education, culture, and the preservation of its values.
Akbar highlighted the importance of educating the younger generation about Pakistan's history, the Pakistan Movement, national heroes, and their sacrifices for the country's defence, stating that this would foster a stronger sense of patriotism and national responsibility among youth.
She commended the All Pakistan Media Council for hosting the conference, noting that such events help highlight Pakistan's history and tributes to its national heroes. Akbar concluded by emphasizing the need for the nation to remember and honour the martyrs while also renewing its commitment to playing a vital role in Pakistan's development, prosperity, security, and sovereignty.
She reaffirmed that the sacrifices of Pakistan's brave sons will never be forgotten.
