Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) and Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), along with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), General Syed Aamer Raza, Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC) and the Armed Forces of Pakistan, pay profound tribute to the Shuhada of Pakistan. They extend their deepest respect and gratitude to the Ghazis and families of our martyrs on the occasion of the 61st Defence and Martyrs' Day.

The 6th of September stands as a powerful symbol of national unity, courage, and resolve. It commemorates the day Pakistanis united to defend their motherland during the War of 1965, as stated in a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

"The Shuhada of Pakistan represent the highest ideals of honour, duty, and sacrifice. Across battlefields, skies, and seas, generations of Pakistani defenders have stood firm, making the ultimate sacrifice for their nation. Their legacy continues to inspire future generations, while the families of our Shuhada remain a testament to fortitude and resilience."

The Armed Forces also salute the Ghazis who guard Pakistan's frontiers with valour and steadfastness. They remain committed to defending the country's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national interests. Pakistan seeks peace, stability, and prosperity in the region, adhering to responsible conduct and peaceful coexistence. However, this commitment should not be mistaken for weakness, as any aggression against Pakistan will receive a swift and decisive response.

On this Defence and Martyrs' Day, the Armed Forces renew their pledge of unwavering devotion to Pakistan and its people. The sacrifices of our Shuhada, the spirit of our Ghazis, and the strength of their families will forever be a source of national pride. United with the nation, the Armed Forces will continue to perform their sacred duties with honour, professionalism, and unyielding determination.

Pakistan Armed Forces Zindabad! Pakistan Hamesha Paindabad!
