DEO Visits Schools in Kacha Areas, Directs Acceleration of Enrollment Drive

District Education Officer (DEO) Syed Tahir Shah Kakakhel, along with Sub-Divisional Education Officer Dr Abdul Hafeez Joyia and School Leader Muhammad Zubair Gullo, visited various primary and middle schools in the Kacha areas to review the ongoing enrollment campaign for 2026-27.
During the visit, newly enrolled children were admitted to schools on the spot, and books and school bags were distributed among students. The DEO instructed teachers to intensify the enrollment campaign as schools had formally reopened, emphasizing that door-to-door outreach was an effective method to bring out-of-school children into the education system.
He also stressed the transparent and effective utilization of Parent-Teacher Council (PTC) funds, directing that available resources be used to improve educational facilities and promote student welfare. The visiting officers also assessed the overall educational environment, student attendance, enrollment activities, and other matters at the institutions.
The schools visited included:
- Government Primary Schools Jhok Bilal, Dhap Chabak, Jhok Dar, Jhok Ameer, Jhok Yaseen, Jhok Mohana No.1, Jhok Mohana No.2, Kachi Paind Khan and Thatha
- Government Middle Schools Jhok Mohana and Kachi Paind Khan
The visit reaffirmed the education department's commitment to expanding access to education and ensuring the success of the enrollment campaign in remote Kacha areas.
