DHA Reviews EPI Performance at Tehsil Level
GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Sep, 2026) The District Health Authority held tehsil-level review meetings to assess the performance of vaccinators and progress under the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI).
The meetings were held under the supervision of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Syed Aitizaz Ahmed, an official source said on Tuesday. The respective Deputy District Health Officers chaired the meetings, while EPI focal persons briefed the participants on vaccinators’ performance and other related matters. Tehsil EPI focal persons, superintendents and vaccinators attended the meetings.
The Gujrat tehsil meeting was held at the District Health Development Centre Hall, while the meetings for Kharian and Sarai Alamgir were held at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Kharian.
The vaccinators were directed to guide parents on the timely completion of vaccination schedules to protect children against 13 vaccine-preventable diseases. They were also instructed to ensure timely online entry of children’s age-wise vaccination records into the Electronic Medical Record system at vaccination points.
