DIG Operations Holds Second Online Open Court

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Sep, 2026) : DIG Operations Faisal Kamran held the second online open court under the banner of digital policing and public participation, attracting 14,000 citizens.

During the live session on Facebook, the DIG Operations addressed citizen concerns and suggestions directly. He also provided updates on actions taken following the previous open court.

Faisal Kamran announced plans to install CCTV cameras in Lahore’s underpasses for enhanced security. He emphasized the police department's zero-tolerance policy against corruption, encouraging citizens to identify corrupt officers.

Additionally, he introduced a voice recording system alongside CCTV installations in police stations to ensure transparency. The DIG Operations also advised citizens to register domestic workers through police stations or service centers for better tracking.

He further highlighted ongoing operations against usury, urging citizens to be vigilant against fraudulent elements and avoid falling prey.
