DIG Security Visits Red Zone Checkposts, Reviews Security Arrangements
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Islamabad Rana Umar Farooq visited different checkposts in the Red Zone and reviewed security arrangements and deployment of police personnel.
An official told APP on Thursday that the DIG Umar received briefings from officers deployed at various security duty points regarding the existing arrangements. During the visit, Umar inspected the security measures at the checkposts and issued directions for further improvement. He directed the officers to remain vigilant while performing their duties and ensure effective security arrangements at their respective duty points.
