DIKhan Food Safety Team Conducts Inspection
Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2026) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority teams conducted inspections of various food businesses at Kakar Adda on Friday, imposing fines on those with prohibited and expired food items.
During the operation, the team checked food outlets' quality control and the expiry status of products. Prohibited and expired items were removed from some businesses, leading to fines for the offenders.
The authorities affirmed their commitment to continuing inspection and enforcement activities to ensure safe and quality food for consumers and prevent the sale of substandard and expired food.
