District Administration Accelerates Efforts To Upgrade Kabirwala General Bus Stand

District Administration accelerates efforts to revamp and upgrade the General Bus Stand in Kabirwala, aiming to improve local infrastructure and facilities for passengers and transporters. This initiative was announced on September 24, 2026, by a spokesperson.

During a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Hina Arshad, officials discussed the proposed design and scope of the upgradation project. The plan includes:

• Reconstructing the main bus stand building
• Improving drainage systems and restoring the mosque
• Developing a modern waiting area, park lawn, feature wall, dedicated cargo spaces, and proper parking sheds
• Enhancing public safety with CCTV cameras, a modern security system, and upgraded firefighting arrangements
• Upgrading the infrastructure of government-owned shops surrounding the bus stand.

Deputy Commissioner Hina Arshad instructed authorities to finalize the project design and initiate ground work immediately. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Kabirwala, Deputy Director of Development, and Municipal Committee officers.
