District Administration Ensures Fuel Subsidy In Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Sep, 2026) — The district administration is actively monitoring petrol pumps across Muzaffargarh to ensure the uninterrupted and transparent provision of the Rs100 per-litre subsidy on petroleum products under the Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Package.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Usman Tahir Jappa, checking and monitoring of all petrol pumps across the district is continuing to ensure full implementation of the Fuel Relief Package and compliance with the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Assistant commissioners and relevant field teams are remaining present at petrol pumps to monitor the subsidy mechanism and ensure that citizens receive petroleum products at subsidized rates without delay.
Special public facilitation desks have also been established at petrol pumps to provide guidance and assistance to citizens and facilitate the smooth delivery of the relief package.
The district administration is maintaining strict monitoring to prevent artificial shortages, overcharging and any other irregularities at petrol pumps. Effective measures are being taken to ensure that the subsidy reaches citizens transparently and without interruption.
Deputy Commissioner Usman Tahir Jappa stated that the benefits of the Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Package were being delivered to citizens with complete transparency and without any hindrance. He further emphasized that any irregularity or delay in the provision of petrol at subsidized rates would not be tolerated.
