District Coordination Committee Reviews Implementation Of Apex Committees Decisions
District Coordination Committee reviews the implementation of decisions taken by federal and provincial apex committees, focusing on activities at the district and taluka levels. This review, held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Hyderabad, Mahwish Aijaz, emphasized timely execution and regular progress reports.
The meeting directed concerned departments to:
- Ensure adherence to federal and provincial apex committee decisions at all levels.
- Maintain strong liaison with local political leaders, elected representatives, community elders, religious leaders, civil society, and other stakeholders to enhance public awareness, social harmony, and law and order.
A detailed discussion was held on engaging youth in positive activities. The sports officer highlighted various programs organized during the month, including sports camps and FIFA world cup screenings, encouraging young people to participate in healthy endeavors.
It was decided that:
- Monthly review meetings at district and taluka levels will continue to monitor apex committee decision implementation.
- Meeting proceedings and progress reports will be regularly forwarded to higher authorities.
- Photographs, attendance sheets, media coverage, and other relevant evidence must accompany progress reports to the Additional Deputy Commissioner-II’s office for proper record-keeping.
