District Monitoring Implementation Committee Reviews Public Safety Measures in Kohat
KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Sep, 2026) A meeting of the District Monitoring Implementation Committee was held on Thursday to discuss law and order and public safety measures under the chairmanship of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General).
According to APP correspondent, the ADC (G) emphasized the need to utilize all available resources for implementing the Revised National Action Plan and maintaining peace in the district. He stated that disrupting public order would not be tolerated, as peace is essential for development and prosperity.
The meeting also addressed illegal spectrum usage, with directives issued to authorities for strict action. The ADC (G) directed all departments to perform their duties diligently to prevent anti-social elements and stressed a policy of zero tolerance against smuggling.
Additional Assistant Commissioner Gambat, Syed Mukhtiar Shah, subsequently inspected Gambat Bazaar. He reviewed prices, hygiene, and compliance with health standards at shops selling essential commodities, vegetables, fruits, kebabs, and milk. Legal action was taken against violators, while shopkeepers were advised to adhere to official price lists and maintain cleanliness standards.
