DPM/FM Dar Directs Coordinated, Timely Action For Development Projects Implementation
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 22, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Saturday, directed all concerned authorities to ensure coordinated and timely action for the effective implementation of development projects and to maintain momentum in the government’s broader agenda of economic development and improved connectivity.
Meeting of ECNEC Held
The DPM/FM chaired a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC). The meeting was attended by:
- Minister for Finance and Revenue
- Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives
- SAPM Tariq Bajwa
- Secretaries of the Cabinet Division and Planning Ministry
- Representatives of the EAD and provincial governments
- Senior Federal and provincial officials, the DPM Office said in a press release.

- Electricity distribution efficiency improvement projects (LESCO, HESCO, PESCO)

- Various water, connectivity and infrastructure projects.
