DPM/FM to Visit UK on Monday
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar is scheduled to undertake an official visit to the United Kingdom from 24 to 28 August.
Key Meetings and Activities
- Dar will hold meetings with UK Foreign Secretary, Ed Miliband, and FCDO Minister of State for Pakistan, Stephen Doughty, as well as other senior UK Government members.
- He will discuss the issue of Pakistani crew members held by Somali pirates aboard the MT Honour 25 oil tanker with the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization.
- A meeting with the Commonwealth Secretary-General, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, is also on the agenda.
- The DPM/FM will engage with British parliamentarians and representatives of the British-Pakistani community.
