DPO Orders Transfer Of 232 Police Personnel

District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat, Faisal Shahzad, on Friday ordered the transfer of 232 police personnel who had been posted at the same location for over five years.
According to a police source, the transferred personnel include driver constables, constables, head constables, and Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs). They have been reassigned to various locations across the district in accordance with administrative requirements and departmental policy.
The DPO stated that these transfers aimed to promote transparency, merit, and impartiality within the police force, thereby enhancing the overall policing system. He believed this measure would lead to improved police services, ensure timely justice, and better assist citizens.
Faisal Shahzad assured that all efforts were being directed towards merit-based policing, uniform enforcement of the law, and providing high-quality public services.
