Dr. Tariq Pays Tribute To PAF Shaheens On Air Force Day

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Monday paid rich tribute to the brave personnel of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on the occasion of Air Force Day, acknowledging their courage, determination and professional excellence in defending the country.
In his message, the minister said the day provided an opportunity to pay homage to the brave “Shaheens” of the PAF who had written remarkable chapters in the history of national defence through their courage, resolve and professional skills.
He noted that during the 1965 war, the PAF’s valiant pilots and personnel had foiled the enemy’s designs and made the nation proud with their outstanding performance.
"The bravery and professional expertise of the PAF Shaheens constitute a glorious chapter in our defence history," said Dr. Tariq.
The minister highlighted the PAF’s outstanding performance during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, stating that it had demonstrated its formidable defence capabilities. He emphasized that the operation proved the PAF Shaheens’ capability and determination to confront every challenge and protect the country effectively.
Dr. Tariq emphasized the PAF’s constant readiness and vigilance around the clock to safeguard Pakistan’s airspace.
He paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Air Force for their supreme sacrifices and praised the services of its Ghazis.
"The present-day Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force are a source of pride for the entire nation," he concluded, adding that the nation admired their courage, determination, and professional competence.
