Eight Private Members' Bills Introduced in the Senate

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2026) Eight private members' bills were introduced in the Senate and referred to the concerned committees for further consideration.

Bills Overview:

  • Criminal Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026: Senator Shahadat Awan proposed amendments to the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860, and the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898.
