Electronic Fare Board Installed in Sargodha
Secretary District Regional Transport Authority Confirms Installation
SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - August 31, 2026) — Secretary District Regional Transport Authority Malik Muhammad Tahir has announced the installation of electronic fare boards at the General Bus Stand, Sargodha, for passenger convenience.
He explained that these boards aim to provide timely information about fixed fares for various routes, ensuring prevention of excess fare collection. Passengers can easily access details of their route's fixed fare through the displays at the bus stand.
Mr. Tahir also assured ongoing monitoring of transporters to enforce fixed fares, adding that strict action will be taken against those charging above the legal rates.
