FAC Arranges Quranic Calligraphy Exhibition
FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - August 24, 2026) In connection with the sacred days of Rabi-ul-Awwal, a magnificent, spiritually uplifting and meaningful exhibition of Quranic calligraphy was organized at Faisalabad Arts Council (FAC).
Director General Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry inaugurated the exhibition, while Additional Deputy Commissioner (Enforcement) Murad Hussain Nekokara, Director Faisalabad Arts Council Muhammad Imran Raza, various government officials, artists, representatives of civil society, students and a large number of citizens were also present.
DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Enforcement) Murad Hussain Nekokara and Director Arts Council Muhammad Imran Raza visited the exhibition in detail and expressed keen interest in the Quranic calligraphy artworks. They appreciated the creativity, artistic skills and efforts of the participating artists.
The exhibition featured beautiful and eye-catching artworks created by renowned calligraphers including Nisar Ahmed, Gulzar Butt, Qamar Sultan and Salamat Ali, among others. Through these artworks, the beautiful calligraphy of verses from the Holy Quran was presented alongside expressions of love and devotion to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
The artists stated that through their art, they express their deep connection with the Holy Quran and their profound love and devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The artworks displayed at the exhibition reflected not only the aesthetic beauty of calligraphy but also a profound spiritual quality, with light reflected in every letter, devotion in every stroke and glimpses of love for the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) in every artwork.
On the occasion, DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry and Director Faisalabad Arts Council Muhammad Imran Raza presented certificates of appreciation to all participating artists in recognition of their artistic services and creative contributions.
Speaking on the occasion, DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry said that organizing a Quranic calligraphy exhibition during the sacred days of Rabi-ul-Awwal was a beautiful, spiritual and meaningful initiative. He stated its purpose was to highlight the teachings of the Holy Quran and sentiments of love and devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) through the effective medium of art.
He noted that such spiritual, educational and cultural activities play an important role in promoting positive values, religious awareness, tolerance and appreciation of the fine arts in society. Appreciating the talent of artists who beautifully present Quranic verses through the art of calligraphy, he said that their efforts were helping connect the younger generation with Islamic arts and the rich cultural and civilizational traditions of the society.
