FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2026): The election process for the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) has reached its culmination after the FCCI Election Commission declared the nomination papers of candidates for president, senior vice president, and vice president valid, paving the way for their unopposed election.
Members of the FCCI Election Commission—Muzammil Sultan, Chaudhry Muhammad Nawaz, and Atif Munir Sheikh—examined the nomination papers submitted for the three key positions and found them in order.
Consequently, the following candidates were unofficially declared elected unopposed:
- Arif Ehsan Malik of M/s Al-Ghani International as FCCI president
- Mian Muhammad Saeed of M/s New Prime Electric Cables as senior vice president
- Muhammad Yaseen of M/s Legacy Textiles as vice president
The Election Commission had previously scrutinized nomination papers for two reserved women's seats, finding them valid. With only two candidates for each, Kanwal Saeed of M/s Ideal Rice Industries (Pvt) Ltd and Tehmina Yasmeen of M/s Tahani Studio were also declared elected unopposed, pending the completion of the formal election process.
The FCCI Election Commission stated that the formal and final announcement of the newly elected office-bearers, executive members, and women representatives will be made at the FCCI Annual General Meeting scheduled for September 30, 2026.
