FCCI Welcomes Pakistan’s Election as Chair of COHS-SCO for 2026-27
Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) President Farooq Yousuf Sheikh warmly welcomed Pakistan's historic election as the Chair of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (COHS-SCO) for the 2026-27 term, describing it as a monumental diplomatic triumph for the nation. He praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's exceptional statesmanship and powerful representation of Pakistan at the SCO meeting in Bishkek.

Farooq Yousuf Sheikh expressed full faith that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan will successfully steer the SCO towards shared prosperity, technological advancement, and stronger regional bonds during its tenure. He noted that assuming the SCO chairmanship for the first time since becoming a full member is a testament to the international community's trust in Pakistan’s leadership.
