FDA To Sell Residential And Commercial Plots In Open Auction - UrduPoint

Director General (DG) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry stated that the FDA will be selling a number of residential and commercial plots located in various areas under its ownership through a transparent and public open auction.
He revealed that complete details regarding available plots, auction terms and conditions, along with the scheduled date, would be announced to the public soon. During a meeting held on Wednesday, Chaudhry reviewed the status of FDA's residential colonies and commercial markets, along with arrangements for the upcoming auction.
Chaudhry emphasized that this initiative aims to enhance FDA’s financial resources through the transparent utilization of its properties and plots, enabling further expansion of its administrative and development activities. He directed officers to compile a detailed record of selected plots for auction, ensuring thorough verification of ownership, location, area, nature, and other relevant aspects before proceeding with the process.
The DG highlighted the importance of transparency, merit, and responsible conduct in financial and administrative affairs at the FDA, stressing that all procedures will strictly adhere to applicable rules and regulations. The meeting also reviewed proposals related to plot records, auction arrangements, and future plans, leading to the issuance of necessary instructions to concerned officers.
Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rind, Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub, Directors Junaid Hassan Manj, Asma Mohsin, Sohail Maqsood Pannu, Yasir Ejaz Chattha, Afnan Saeed Sindhu, and other relevant officials attended the meeting.
