FIA Pre-departure Desk At Islamabad Airport Offers Travel, Immigration Guidance Under One Roof

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone’s Pre-Departure Facilitation Desk at Islamabad International Airport (IIAP) is now providing passengers with travel document guidance, immigration assistance and complaint handling all under one roof.
An FIA official stated on Wednesday that Assistant Director Siraj-ur-Rehman Jasra, in-charge of the Pre-Departure Facilitation Desk, outlined the desk’s purpose and available facilities. He noted that the desk had been relocated from the FIA Zonal Office to the airport to offer necessary guidance and assistance to passengers before their departure abroad.
The desk provides the following services:
- Travel Documents: Guidance and information about travel documents.
- Immigration Guidance: Assistance with immigration procedures.
- Complaint Handling: Help in addressing passengers' complaints and related issues.
Assistant Director Jasra emphasized that the facility aimed to streamline the process for passengers, making it easier to access the required guidance and assistance at a single location at the airport prior to international travel.
