Fire Safety Training Held
GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Aug, 2026) Firefighting and emergency response training for staff of government health facilities across Gujrat district was underway in collaboration with Rescue 1122, here on Friday.
Five-Day Training Program
The five-day training program, being held from August 27 to 31, 2026, is directed by the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Gujrat, Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi and supervised by Chief Executive Officer (CEO), District Health Authority Gujrat, Dr. Syed Muhammad Aitizaz Ahmed.
Participants
Staff members from Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals, trauma centers, civil hospitals, maternity hospitals, Rural Health Centres, Basic Health Units (BHUs), and Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics are participating in the training.
Rescue 1122 Training
Rescue 1122 personnel are providing practical training on:
- Handling fire emergencies
- Proper use of fire extinguishers
- Initial safety measures
- Emergency management
- Safe evacuation of patients and staff
The training program aims to:
- Enhance fire safety and emergency preparedness at government health facilities
- Improve the response capabilities of staff
- Minimize the risk of loss of life and property.
