Attacks on Saudi Arabia are condemnable and alarming in these critical circumstances, while the US refusal to help Riyadh reflects its longstanding hostile designs against the Muslim ummah, says renowned scholar Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) Renowned religious scholar Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani has stated that the emergency siren sounding in Makkah Mukarramah for the first time in history serves as a warning bell for the entire Muslim Ummah.

According to details, Mufti Taqi Usmani expressed grave concern over attacks on Saudi territory, particularly Makkah Mukarramah, and the siren's activation in a significant post on social media platform X. He strongly condemned targeting Saudi Arabia during these sensitive circumstances.

He noted that the emergency siren in the holy city of Makkah Mukarramah is not an ordinary event but a major warning for the Muslim Ummah. In his statement, Usmani also criticized America's perceived double standards and reluctance to offer security cooperation amidst the current crisis. He argued that America's hesitation to fully support Saudi Arabia at this critical moment reveals its enduring and unacceptable agenda against the Muslim community.

Mufti Taqi Usmani's full statement:

"Targeting the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in these extremely sensitive and delicate circumstances is highly dangerous and strongly condemnable. The emergency siren sounding in the holy city of Makkah Mukarramah for the first time in history is not an ordinary incident but a major warning and alarm for the entire Muslim Ummah. America's hesitation and withdrawal from fully supporting and defending Saudi Arabia at this critical juncture expose its traditional, long-standing, and condemnable designs against the Muslim Ummah."
