Free Prosthetic Limb Camp Held In Vehari

UrduPoint reports that a one-day free prosthetic limb camp was organized in Vehari on September 15, 2026. The initiative, a collaborative effort between the Sunshine Development Organisation Bahawalpur and Care Medical and Diagnostic Centre, aimed to provide artificial limbs to individuals who had lost their legs below the knee.

The camp was inaugurated by businessman Chaudhry Sarwar Moddy in the presence of Dr Ramzan Abbasi and consultant orthopaedic surgeon Dr Zain-ul-Abideen. Deserving individuals from Vehari and surrounding areas registered for the camp, receiving prosthetic limbs free of charge.

Dr Zain-ul-Abideen emphasized that this initiative will be a regular occurrence, with a representative from the Sunshine Development Organisation available at Care Medical and Diagnostic Centre during the second and fourth weeks of every month to facilitate registration and support.

The beneficiaries and their families expressed gratitude to the organizers and supporters for this valuable service.
