Fresh Feasibility Study, Alignment Revalidation Decided for Multan Ring Road

Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan held an online meeting with Ring Road Authority Chairperson Saifullah Gondal on Tuesday to review progress on the Multan Ring Road project and the proposed alignments.
It was decided to carry out a fresh feasibility study and revalidate the alignments. The alignments suggested in the earlier study will be re-examined against the current situation on the ground.
The new study will assess traffic, interchanges, land acquisition, costs, and the various phases of the project. A final alignment will be proposed after consultation with all relevant stakeholders. Once the study is complete, the final proposal will be sent to the competent forum for approval.
The suggestions of local stakeholders and ground realities will be incorporated into the planning of the project.
