ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza inspected different police stations and directed officials to accelerate reforms under SIPS protocols, aimed at modernising police stations and improving service delivery for citizens.

An official told APP on Monday that the SSP Qazi reviewed ongoing renovation work, modern facilities, and arrangements being introduced under SIPS protocols at the police stations. During the visits, Qazi carried out a detailed inspection of facilities available to citizens and examined front desks, record rooms, and other administrative arrangements.

He directed the concerned officers to further improve the standard of facilities and ensure that police stations were modern, organised, and better equipped to serve the public. "The provision of prompt, respectful, and quality services to citizens is our top priority,” Qazi said.

He explained that the purpose of SIPS protocols was to bring the environment of police stations and their service delivery in line with modern requirements. The SSP Qazi stated that the process of renovating police stations and providing modern facilities had been accelerated, while reforms for better service delivery and effective policing were continuing. He directed officers to ensure that improved infrastructure translated into better facilitation for people visiting police stations for complaints and other police services.

Qazi said all available resources were being utilised to improve facilities at police stations and provide citizens with efficient and quality police services.
