Fujairah Ruler Receives Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology

FUJAIRAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 07th Oct, 2026) H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, received Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, at Al Rumailah Palace.
During the meeting, they discussed various matters pertaining to industry and technology sectors, reviewing developments in ongoing work and initiatives aimed at strengthening national industrial capabilities and fostering innovation and technology, thereby contributing to economic diversification and enhancing the UAE’s competitiveness.
The gathering also addressed the significance of continuing to develop the national industrial ecosystem, strengthening integration among various entities and institutions, and backing projects and initiatives that contribute to increasing the industrial sector's contribution to the national economy in line with the UAE’s future trajectory.
H.H. emphasised the importance of bolstering Fujairah’s role in supporting the industrial sector and leveraging its capabilities and strategic location for high-impact projects, thereby enhancing its economic contribution.
For his part, Dr. Al Jaber expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Ruler of Fujairah's support and his commitment to developing the industrial sector and strengthening the role of technology and innovation in driving development. He affirmed the importance of sustained cooperation in furtherance of the UAE’s future goals.
