Fund Raising Charity Show for Ailing Artist Held in Hyderabad
UrduPoint (October 7, 2026) - HAWA Artist Welfare Association, in collaboration with the Culture Department of Sindh, organized a fundraising charity and musical show to support senior artist Chacha Gul Hassan Khaskheli at Mumtaz Mirza Auditorium. Renowned artists, actors, and figures from various fields participated and generously donated to assist the ailing artist on Wednesday.
Dr. Hadi Bakhsh Jatoi, as a special guest, attended the event at the invitation of Nawab Asrar Leghari.
The charity show initially collected Rs. 618,000, while a businessman pledged to match the amount raised, resulting in a grand total of over Rs. 1 million. The artists congratulated Nawab Asrar Leghari for hosting the successful event.
