FUUAST Holds Urdu Debate Competition Titled "Hum Azad Hain"
Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology (FUUAST), under the auspices of the Federal Literary and Debating Society (FLDS), organized an Urdu debate competition on the topic "Hum Azad Hain". Students actively participated, delivering passionate and well-reasoned speeches both in favor of and against the topic.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor of FUUAST Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari emphasized the importance of debates and speech competitions in developing students' confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills. He stressed the need to provide students with academic and literary platforms where they can express their views positively and contribute effectively to society.
At the conclusion of the competition, Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari distributed certificates to students who secured first, second, and third positions, as well as to the program organizers and FLDS volunteers. He appreciated the efforts of all involved in making the event a success.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Majeed Khan, Student Advisor Dr. Saadia Khalil, and Zeeshan Ahmed were also present.
